Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management:
Lead and manage a team of cyber physical AI specialists[CD1] [WH2] and engineers focused on developing and maintaining MOT and scene understanding systems
Foster a collaborative and innovative remote team environment, ensuring knowledge sharing and professional growth of team members
Promote and enforce best practices in software development, project management, and research
Project Management:
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects related to MOT and scene understanding
Help scope projects in time, budget, and quality standards
Technology Development and Innovation:
Guide the team in researching and applying state-of-the-art computer vision techniques for tracking and scene analysis
Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in AI and computer vision to assess their potential application in current and future projects
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
Work closely with other technology departments, including other AI systems teams, to ensure smooth integration of features and fixes
Work with non-technical departments including product, marketing, and operations, to align AI system capabilities with business goals
Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders and contribute to strategic planning

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
Proven experience in leading AI projects, with a strong focus on computer vision
Expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision algorithms and frameworks
Strong programming skills in Python, C++, and/or GoLang
Experience with PyTorch
Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills

Additional Qualifications:

Publications or a significant portfolio of implemented computer vision systems
Previous work in fast-moving startup environments
Experience in a fast-paced, product-driven environment
Familiarity with distributed computing[CD1]
Experience with handling under-defined problems by creating clarity from chaos
