Regional Sales Director - West

Anvilogic is a Palo Alto-based AI cybersecurity startup founded by security veterans and data scientists from Fortune 500 companies. In 2019, we started building an AI-based SOC platform to lower the barrier to entry for detection engineering and threat hunting skill sets desperately needed in cybersecurity.
Our mission is to democratize threat detection and hunting for today’s SOC teams to easily be done across hybrid, multi-clouds and security data lakes without needing to centralize data or rip and replace tools. Further, with our investments in AI-powered automation of detection-as-code to create, test, tune and deploy detections, SOC users can implement high-efficacy detection and hunting techniques without writing a single line of code nor manually wrangling data.
As a Regional Sales Director (1st line) at Anvilogic, you will play a pivotal role in driving the sales strategy across our GTM- Field Sales, Channel/VAR sales, SDRs, Marketing and Executive Peer-to-Peer.
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Security Sales Professional with a proven track record in recruiting, enabling and leading high-performing sales teams within the cybersecurity domain. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cybersecurity technologies, SIEM technologies, Security Data Lake trends, market trends, and a passion for helping clients enhance their security posture and reduce risks. As well as a strong command of our Sales Methodology focused on increasing sales productivity.
- Sales Leadership: Hire, Enable, Retain and Lead a team of security sales professionals to achieve and exceed both quarterly and annual sales targets, ensuring consistent growth and market share expansion.
- Linearity- drive consistent revenue growth each month within the quarter
- Balanced attainment- Maximizing individual contributor productivity across each member of the team
- Strategy Development: Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement sales strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives and market dynamics.
- Market Analysis: Stay abreast of cybersecurity industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform strategic decision-making.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their unique cybersecurity needs and positioning our platform as the optimal choice.
- Team Development: Foster a high-performance culture by recruiting, training, and developing top-tier sales talent. Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback.
- A Player Coach, Field Captain across the pipeline- hands on approach to selling is a must
- Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Regularly assess sales metrics, prepare accurate forecasts, and provide weekly reports to the executive team. Utilize data-driven insights to refine sales strategies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to ensure a cohesive and customer-centric approach
- Incorporating a Sales Development Representative (SDR) strategy into your Field Team
- Leading, Developing and driving SQLs through various plays- Outbound, ABM and Event based activities
- Channel Sales: Developing a VAR strategy specific to your theater. Collaborating with our Channel Director to drive demand through multiple VARs and increase channel attribution to retire quota
- Customer Advocacy: Promote customer advocacy by ensuring that client feedback is communicated effectively within the organization, contributing to continuous improvement of products and services
- Ability to build Executive level Champions
- Travel to support Prospect/Customer meetings, market events, QBRs and other internal/external events.
