Location: On-site - Santa Cruz HQ
Schedule: Part-time | 25–30 hours per week
Compensation: $22.50 per hour

Eligibility: Graduating Juniors, Seniors, and Recent Graduates (within 24 months of graduation)

Role at a Glance:

As an IT Support Intern, you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day IT operations and providing first-line technical assistance to employees. This role is ideal for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in IT, develop troubleshooting skills, and learn corporate IT practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide basic technical support to end-users (hardware, software, and connectivity issues).
  • Assist in setting up and configuring laptops.
  • Support onboarding and off boarding processes by preparing IT equipment.
  • Maintain IT inventory by updating asset records and assisting with hardware audits.
  • Handle routine troubleshooting tasks such as application support, and basic network diagnostics.
  • Follow IT procedures for ticketing, escalating issues, and documenting resolutions.
  • Set up and maintain audio-visual equipment for meetings, including projectors, video conferencing systems, and microphones.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to meetings, ensuring a smooth experience for all participants.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of the Mac environment is a plus.
  • Strong interest in IT support and technology.
  • Basic knowledge of IT hardware and software components.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Enthusiasm for helping others and providing excellent customer service.
  • Speaking Spanish is a plus but not required
