The Role:
The Embedded/OEM Sales Director is a senior role requiring tact, credibility, energy, and drive. This hybrid "hunter/farmer" position focuses primarily on acquiring new customers and integrating the SnapLogic platform into OEM solutions/products, which are then commercialized to end customers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in direct or OEM sales and a strong knowledge of product management and engineering stakeholders.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and execute an OEM sales plan for your region, targeting accounts for acquisition and expansion.
  • Prospect into OEM target accounts, engaging senior leaders in product development, engineering, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Articulate and manage SnapLogic’s complex sales cycles to present the value of our integration platform to decision-makers.
  • Develop and manage key relationships throughout assigned accounts, from technical individual contributors to C-level executives (typically Chief Technology Officers, Chief Product Officers, Product Management, and Engineering teams).
  • Collaborate closely with your assigned Sales Engineer/Solution Architect to scope and develop a custom business solution to an OEM customer’s specific requirements.
  • Practice operational discipline by maintaining accurate opportunity and activity management in Salesforce while creating satisfied, referenceable customers.

What We're looking For:

  • 10+ years of selling solutions into IT technology.
  • Prior direct sales experience in a data technology company.
  • Prior experience negotiating contracts and pricing for complex, multi-year contracts.
  • Experience selling to Digital Information Services companies, Global ISVs, Tax, Audit and Consulting firms.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales quota.
  • SaaS selling experience is a MUST.
  • Previous Sales Methodology training, SaaS integration or applications experience, and strong customer references preferred.
  • Demonstrated success managing the sales cycle from business/IT champion to C-level executives.
  • A polished executive presence and poise that exudes credibility.
  • Demonstrated exceptional written and verbal communications skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Experience working in a start-up environment is strongly preferred.
