Job Duties:

The Senior Manager of Product Design will be responsible for the following job duties:

1. Lead quarterly planning for design department (OKRs, estimated budget and expected timelines);

2. Lead efforts to transform abstract concepts, customer needs, and requirement documents into

visualized artifacts, such as wireframes and storyboard;

3. Identify unmet customer needs by conducting and synthesizing user interviews;

4. Lead the development and implementation of repeatable design processes (e.g., design

development process and stakeholder design critique);

5. Design complex user interfaces like advanced reports, data visualizations and customizable

dashboards;

6. Lead the development and maintenance of organizational style guide; and

7. Build complex internal product prototypes in major prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe Xd,

Balsamiq and Sketch.

Requirements:

Employer requires a bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, Visual Communications, Human-Computer

Interaction, or a related design or behavioral science field and four (4) years of work experience as a

Product Designer (or similar occupation) leading ideation and design in the B2B SaaS industry. In

addition, a candidate must have:

1. Demonstrated ability applying behavioral and cognitive foundations of interaction design, user

research techniques, and user-centered design techniques gained through four (4) years of work

experience;

2. Demonstrated ability working with users and stakeholders to gather and implement technical

requirements gained through four (4) years of work experience;

3. Demonstrated ability managing budgets and timelines to meet business requirements gained

through four (4) years of work experience;

4. Demonstrated ability collaborating with cross-functional teams of software developers and

internal stakeholders in an Agile environment gained through four (4) years of work experience;

5. Demonstrated ability consuming software code in JavaScript to enable effective communication

between product development and software engineering teams gained through four (4) years of

work experience; and

6. Demonstrated ability utilizing Figma, Adobe Xd, or similar tools to design end-to-end product

flows gained through four (4) years of work experience.

All years of experience may be gained concurrently.

In the alternative, employer would accept a master’s degree in Interaction Design, Visual

Communications, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related design or behavioral science field and two

(2) years of work experience as a Product Designer (or similar occupation) leading ideation and design in

the B2B SaaS industry. In addition, a candidate must have:

1. Demonstrated ability applying behavioral and cognitive foundations of interaction design, user

research techniques, and user-centered design techniques gained through two (2) years of work

experience;

2. Demonstrated ability working with users and stakeholders to gather and implement technical

requirements gained through two (2) years of work experience;

3. Demonstrated ability managing budgets and timelines to meet business requirements gained

4. Demonstrated ability collaborating with cross-functional teams of software developers and

5. Demonstrated ability consuming software code in JavaScript to enable effective communication

work experience; and

All years of experience may be gained concurrently.

Telecommuting is available up to three days per week, but the candidate must reside in the Boston,

Massachusetts region, as on site presence at the company office is required at least two days per week.
